Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering within a supportive and collaborative environment. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced engineers on a variety of projects, contributing to design, analysis, and implementation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, including but not limited to power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project objectives, including feasibility studies, energy efficiency assessments, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other components of larger projects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and testing activities to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions to projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- EIT certification or eligibility to obtain EIT certification within six months of hire.
- Strong theoretical foundation in electrical engineering principles, including power systems, circuit analysis, and electromagnetics.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and/or other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
