Wet Scrubbing Exhaust System with Air Curtain Supply Process Flow Diagram.

Applications

Used in industries such as chemical processing, metalworking, and manufacturing. They effectively remove contaminants, including particulates, gases, and vapors, from exhaust streams, ensuring cleaner emissions and improved air quality.

Benefits

These systems offer high contaminant removal efficiency, improved air quality, and compliance with environmental regulations. The air curtain supply enhances the containment of contaminants, reduces maintenance needs, and improves the overall effectiveness of the wet scrubbing process.

Capacities

Flow Rates: 500 to over 100,000 cfm

Removal Efficiency: Achieves high removal efficiencies, up to 99%, for various contaminants

Air Curtain Supply: Provides a controlled flow of clean air, enhancing the system’s containment and scrubbing efficiency

Contaminated exhaust air enters the wet scrubber, where it is sprayed with scrubbing liquid. The liquid captures and neutralizes pollutants through direct contact. Simultaneously, an air curtain supply delivers a controlled stream of clean air, creating a barrier that prevents contaminants from escaping and enhances the scrubbing action. The contaminated liquid is collected and treated, while the cleaned air is released or recirculated. This dual-action system ensures efficient removal of pollutants and optimal containments.
