Air Curtain Supply System Process Flow Diagram.

Applications

Used in various industries such as manufacturing, food processing, and mining to contain dust and other pollutants and can serve a number of different applications. These systems create air barriers that prevent contaminants from spreading, ensuring a cleaner and safer working environment.

Benefits

These systems enhance workplace safety by containing dust and pollutants, reducing exposure to harmful substances. They improve air quality, support compliance with environmental regulations, and minimize maintenance costs by preventing dust accumulation on equipment. Additionally, they increase energy efficiency by maintaining air temperature control within enclosed spaces.

Capacities

Air Flow Rates: From 1,000 to over 20,000 cfm

Pressure Range: From 5 to 50 inWC

Coverage Area: Designed to cover openings ranging from a few feet to over 30 feet

The system comprises a blower fan that generates a high-velocity air stream. This air is directed through blowpipes positioned at strategic locations, such as doorways, conveyor openings, or process equipment enclosures. The high-velocity air forms an invisible barrier, or “air curtain,” which effectively blocks dust and pollutants from crossing the barrier. The air curtain’s velocity and direction are adjustable to ensure optimal containment of contaminants. By maintaining a continuous flow of air, the system prevents the spread of dust and pollutants, ensuring a clean and controlled environment.
