Applications
Used in paper mills to chop and transport trim waste generated during the paper production process back to the pulper. These systems are essential for efficiently handling trim waste, preventing blockages, and ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
Benefits
These systems enhance operational efficiency by integrating a chopper that chops trim waste into smaller pieces and simultaneously conveys it through the ductwork. This dual function reduces the risk of blockages, minimizes downtime, and supports waste recycling efforts by directing chopped trim to collection points. Additionally, they reduce manual handling, lower labor costs, and maintain a cleaner working environment.
Capacities
Trim Conveying Capacity: Capable of handling trim widths from a few millimeters to several centimeters
Air Flow Rates: From 1,000 to over 10,000 cfm
Conveying Distance: Effective over distances ranging from a few meters to over 100 meters, depending on the system design and layout
The system consists of a chopper in the trim conveying duct. As trim enters the duct, the chopper chops it into smaller pieces while generating high-velocity air to transport the chopped trim through the ducts. The chopped trim is then conveyed to the pulper. The chopper fan’s dual action ensures efficient chopping and conveying, maintaining optimal machine performance and cleanliness. Control systems regulate the air flow and chopping speed to match the production requirements, ensuring consistent and reliable operation.
